Hammond Pole Attorneys issuing summons where there is no case whatsoever!

We received a summon for loan acc: ********** 196041 from Hammond Pole Majola Attorneys as instructed by FNB in January 2018 , this was followed by a notice for the application of summary judgment 10 days later after we have filled a notice of intention to defend the matter. I'm now confused we just received a notice for an application for summary judgment against the account in question for 10 May 2018. After investigation with the bank regarding the account, they informed us of the following : * The FNB loan account received the summons in with the reference number: ********** 196041, was changed by the bank to ********** 687661 in July-August 2016. * The account has been receiving payments plus FNB confirmed all is in order with the accounts from their side. Therefore, the bank informed that it is safe to ignore the summons as all is in order with them and they will inform the attorneys. But today boom we receive a notice for a summary judgment against us. Such incompetence
