Absolutely pathetic!!!

I had a 2 credit cards that I could no longer pay because I was retrenched. These cards then got handed over and once I got another job I contacted the attorneys to make payment arrangements. For the past 15 years I was paying these 2 credit cards, even got notification from FNB that they had received my payments.

Then I started getting threatening emails, sms's and phone calls from Hammond Pole Attorneys and a summons was even sent to my home, because of my "non payment". After sending them proof of payment, this would die down, then a few months later it would start all over again.

Eventually realising that I'm getting nowhere I managed to pay these 2 credit cards in full, sent them the proof of payment and struggled for weeks after to get my paid up letter which I did eventuallyget. Now the sms's are starting all over again - now even after I've paid the debt. I can only assume it is all automated, so I have phoned and asked them to please remove my name and number from their system, lets see if this actually happens.
