FALSE PRETENCES & NO RESPONSE

During late Feb/ early March, I received a call from the holding company for haloassist offering me a personal loan. They informed me (after ensuring that they had all my details as correct on their system) that while they were \processing the loan application""; but they were sure to debit my account for the fee. I have sent mails to instruct cancellation; and received confirmation of the cancellation of said policy. The debit order have however kept running and end of April;the amount was double debited. This is THEFT (using supposed \""legal\"" methods). I want this matter dealt with and ALL of my money returned. It's companies like this that force the public to become ugly towards ALL telemarketers. These companies are worse than vultures who prey on people who are in need of financial assistance.
