STEWART WOODLEY - H2O POOLS INSTALLATIONS & RENOVATIONS

Our swimming pool was in need of an upgrade. The fiberglass pool was not looking good and a few other issues needed to be addressed. We approached four companies and decided to go with H20 Pools Installations & Renovations in Brackenfell, Cape Town. Owner Mr. Stewart Woodley, owner and Director of Cape Renovate (t/a) Aquatic Pools was our choice and he definitely was not the cheapest quote! I have never been one to bad mouth a business however, in October 2023 he gave us a quote and the deposit was paid. Against our better judgement we paid the balance in full during the process as he needed more supplies. Total poor workmanship on his part. Not punctual. His staff were all over the show. Did not know whether they working or not some days. Mr Woodley finished our pool in quite a rush. Paint was barely dry when the pool was being refilled. The pool had two holes which were created by himself during the renovation. Not even a year later and the pool is back to square one and worse. We have had to fork out extra to have the pool seen to as it is at risk of cracking and caving in. We have contacted him and each time he confirms to return. His words.....its a drainage problem that caused our pool to collapse. An assessor and proper pool expert has been to the property and confirm that the pool was not done properly and was never compacted properly. Why is my question? Why do people confirm they are "experts" and not know what they are doing.
