Review for H2O Pool Renovation

We hired H2O Pool Renovation to redesign and renovate our swimming pool after considering several companies. Initially, Steward from H2O Pool Renovation made a very good impression on us. He had some solid ideas and presented himself professionally, although he was the most expensive among the contractors we spoke with. He estimated the renovation would take about three weeks. Unfortunately, things quickly took a turn for the worse. Despite initial agreements, Steward began asking for more and more money as the project progressed—and when we hesitated, he simply stopped showing up. At this point, he has already received more than half of the total payment, and the work is far from complete.

The pool has been poorly painted, the wall borders are missing, and multiple holes in the pool floor had to be patched more than once. His workers often show up without the necessary materials because Steward either orders them too late—or not at all.

We are now in the seventh week of what was supposed to be a three-week job. The pool is still empty, and the new tiles haven't even been laid. On the very first day, his workers helped themselves to all the oranges from our tree. Since then, an adapter has gone missing.

In another baffling moment, Steward sent over a worker whose only experience was as a driver. After working for him for just two weeks, this person was suddenly tasked with applying fiberglass to our pool—an extremely delicate and specialized job.

Our experience has been deeply frustrating and disappointing. If you're considering hiring H2O Pool Renovation: don’t. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere.
