Snarky and cheeky response from the Gumtree support team

I have sold a few items over the last few weeks on Gumtree. Each time as soon as the item was sold I deleted the add. I don;t want any disappointment for those looking for items and also I think its just good manners as I would also not be to excited to learn a item has been sold weeks before and the seller is not bothered to remove the ad. 2 weeks after the item was sold I was still getting people asking me if it was on sale so eventually I asked if the ad was still up and I found even though my profile didn't show the ad it was still on gumtree and I wasn't able to remove the item. I lodged a ticket with their support team and eventually even though I stated I had deleted the ad and that it wasn't showing on my profile I got a snarky and cheeky mail stating: funny enough it seems that you did not delete that ad. Only thing I asked was to please fix it I do not appreciate that kind of messages and I am being treated like I am an idiot. I might think twice before using Gumtree again as there are alternatives such as Carbonite or FB Marketplace.
