NO RESPONSE IN ASKING FOR ASSISTANCE
Experienced bad buying episode from seller advertising on GUMTREE not disclosing truth about item that I bought and paid for. Only found out of condition of item ( Outboard engine ) after sale after having official Yamaha dealer examine it. Was described as \ exelent (sic) condition "and never been worked on before ( Blatant lie ) by seller. This repudiated by Yamaha Dealer. Seller refuses to refund. Contacted Gumtree on 14 December 2015 by email in order to determine if Seller can be classified as dealer ( currently selling another boat ) as he has 7 other listings in past. Need this info to determine if I have a case under Consumer Protection Act. Simple as that. Emailed Charmaine on 3 occasions WITH NO REPLY. Last email specifically asked to notify me if Gumtree may not disclose info of seller so that I can subpoena. Still no reply. Well done Gumtree. I hope prospective buyers read this."""
