Gumtree website has lost it!

<p>I have been advertising my business solely on Gumtree for 4 years now. I have had a lot if contact with support over the yrs, placed many paid for ads but never was I told all these yrs my ads are interested wrong category. Few months ago I was told by Gumtree support to move my ads to building and trades category and then all types of problems arose. I was the only user to listen and move where as everyone else stayed under home appliances. I've been since then reporting these users who have been violating the rules to manager at support Louis and he has been deleting and warning the users. He thinks they will change yet I know that's never going to happen. These users have so many email accounts and place so many duplicate ads that flood the appliance pages, not only that Gumtree has them in paid for top ads and under these ads they have numerous duplicate ads. Which leaves no room for users like me who follow the rules. Louis at support has allowed me 5 duplicate ads just so my business gets exposure yet even that fails. Why doesn't gumtree implement better methods of tracing these idiots? Doesnt anyone care anymore? What makes it worse is that I go online and report these users to support but nothing is ever done about it. If a user has 478 ads that user would in a weeks time have 100 such more duplicate ads, 4 days ago I've a user who has been creating new emails and new accounts with Gumtree and posting ads in wring category as well as top ad. I took the time like every other to go browse the pages and single out this user with his new identity then to copy his ad Id and paste it in an email to Louis at support like every other time but no response. Ive reported the user to support separately as well since then but the user is still online increasing duplicates daily. So is Gumtree shutting down? Why are their staff non existent. No email no actions from them. Do they even exist? The only one in this entire situation to loose is me for I am a small business owner and for 4 yrs Gumtree has been my sole advertising site. Apart from Gumtree I never advertised anywhere else for if I get a few jobs I'm happy, I don't need a whole lot just what I can deliver. Now I am using olx and Junkmail and a few other sites, but I still miss Gumtree and the good old days. If all those users cannot be moved to the other category. If Gumtree has no control over the users actions and anyone can place just any ad anywhere then the site is not safe to use, as well as I should not be expected to be the ONLY user in my field to be sitting alone under building and trades category when all my Refrigeration repair competitors are sitting tight with the help of Gumtree monopolising all the jobs. With the help of Gumtree because after I've reported this users and their EVERY duplicate ad support still looks the other way so definately then support is in a manner assisting users in violation of the Gumtree policy . This is a never ending matter and Gumtree needs to take action now or come to admit that the users have full control over the site and Gumtree should then accept it, cos everyone can make numerous emails and then numerous accounts with Gumtree and these users have been doing it daily it's just that Louis failed to see the outcome of this. The same day Louis would block those user accounts new ones were made and they were into +-20 ads by sundown. I want to know why??? Why am I asked to sit back and let everyone else get exposure for their business??? Since moving to the other category my phone had rung 0/nil times per day, yet under home appliances for the past 3 and somewhat yrs just one ad under home appliances for fridge repairs for me 20+ calls daily. It was sufficient that I did not advertise anywhere else all these yrs. My advertising ran only online and only on Gumtree. I feel cheated, and u want to know why isn't Gumtree interested anymore? Before IP addresses where traced and if a user had more than one account without warning they were blocked. I myself have my business email account blocked with Gumtree for 4 yrs now For I did not know u can't have more than one account. My I'd was blocked and since then has been blocked going on 4 yrs now, so why has Gumtree changed.? What was so wrong that is done all those yrs ago that I have been given such a severe ban, and why is the same methods not implemented now? I have lost faith in Gumtree.
