Gumtree is filled with ********** looking to take goods without ever paying for them. The only responses received to the sale of an item has been ************ for the last couple of months. Not one single offer for a genuine sale has been received. The ************ use tactics like pay pal and proof of payments which when queried the bank accounts don’t exist. Sadly even cash needs to be checked for ****s. These ******** don’t know any bounds and will try anything to part you from your goods without payment. Gumtree allows this to freely happen and have become a website for ******** to thrive on. The offer no protection nor do they even bother to check out buyers. Some of us are trying to sell something legitimately but get hit constantly by these ******** and need to keep up our guard. Selling anything has become a difficult task and quite honestly not even worth pursuing through the likes of Gumtree.
