Gumtree SA Blocks Accounts Without Explanation

I have been using Gumtree for easily about 20 years now. I have used this online platform for placing of ads as well as for searching for services or items. In the last few months I had been having more and more difficulty placing ads on the site. My ads would never go live. I eventually wrote to Gumtree support to ask what the problem was, as I had read through the terms and had been placing ads for many years and could not understand what the problem could possibly be. I also asked for them to please assist by telling me where I was going wrong in my placing of my ad, so that I could fix it. No, all I received back was "your account has been permanently restricted" by someone called "Jason" with no explanation and that was it! I have no idea why or what I did wrong. I find this so very unprofessional. I did nothing vindictively wrong. It is extremely disappointing but there are other platforms, alot more popular too, but I hope Gumtree South Africa take a good look at how they are treating their customers.
