Gumtree Declutterthon: Here's your code for your chance to win!
The Gumtree Declutterthon campaign has falsely advertised the terms in which you win a prize. It claims, per opportunity you receive with a code allowing you to pick a box. Your choice gives you the opportunity to win the prize but after receiving over 10 chances. This isn't true and does not work as instructed in their Terms and Conditions.
The code given by the Gumtree Declutterthon team as nothing more than a access code to play a game, with no chance of winning any of the prizes. With that being said this campaign is falsely advertising how you win a prize and rather should end. As a consume your I can say your falsely giving your users the impression, that they can win a prize and it is nothing more than a way to boast website traffic.

15 Oct 2020, 12:28Gumtree South Africa current campaign has limited prospects. If I play the lotto my 6 digits needs to match millions if not billions of sequences for me to have a chance to win. Where your game gives you 9 boxes in which 6 give you the chance to win a prize. In one case I had 4 chances to play a game at once and choose the middle box 3/4 of my chances and no win. Meaning the code or chance given was never intended to give me a chance but rather give the delusion, that I controlled my chance to win with my pick. I don't need to contact your helpdesk, only thing I wanted to share is that the campaign. Is falsely giving users the impression that they control their choices. It has been made for us the minute the code is allocated to the user. Meaning Gumtree South Africa chooses a winner before giving the code and link to play the game and that's facts.

I applaud your team for consistency in unprofessionalism. A month ago I wrote this review in hopes that you will see the error and correct it. But instead you decided to no longer allow me to participate in the competition even though I have place two ads after the review.
I do not know if your attempting some Facebook ban or what, but it will not stop me from calling your organisation out. Because false pretencies and lack of respect for the intelligence of your users is evident in how you conducted yourselves.
2020 is really something... Lol now Gumtree catching feelings and excluded individuals from free entry competitions. LOL! What's next declining my ADs placed on your site?
