GUMTREE CHARGING FOR ONE CAR ADVERT
I have decided to sell my car and upon trying to do this on Gumtree I am informed that I must pay R129 for posting the advert.. I have no other related adverts activated yet I am told I must pay for this. Highly unacceptable and very GREEDY by Gumtree.

We allow users to post 2 ads for free in the Auto section at a time. If one does want to post more that 2 ads at a time in the Autos section there is a fee requested.
However, you have a couple of options as to how you can proceed.
First, you can delete your older ads in the Auto. This will then allow you to post new ads in that section.
Second, if you would like to have more than two ads at a time in the section you will still be able to post as many additional ads as you'd like on a pay-per-ad fee basis. If, however, you are selling a number of vehicles (approximately in excess of 15 per month) you also have access to a number of affordable ad packages using the brand-new Gumtree Auto Inventory Tool.
All you need to do to get started is visit www.gumtree.co.za/pages/autodealers.
