Any user who tries to engage in any other way, please ignore these and report these users. What you may also wish to do is to remove your phone number from your Ad, this way, users can only contact you via the Gumtree message system where you can report or block them. If contact is cell phone to cell phone, the same cannot be said. Should you prefer to leave your phone number in the Ad, as per the above advice, please remember to report or ignore any responses from users who try to engage with you not as suggested in our safety advice. User safety is of utmost importance to us. Please do be in touch should you wish to report the phone number of users who contact you to send items and who try to get you to use Paypal.
