GUMTREE - ANTI-BLACK OWNED BUSINESS DURING LOCKDOWN

Gumtree South Africa is blatantly ****** and in particular one of their complaints personnel, Jason. This is a direct transcript of an online conversation between one of our black KwikPave SA franchisees and Jason after Gumtree suddenly removed Nkosekhaya's ad for KwikPave Mdantsane and blocked his account:

Me (4/3/2020, 9:26:44 AM): I'm ok but why has my ads been removed and why can't I sign in Jason (4/3/2020, 9:29:07 AM): So it seems the account has been restricted.

It has been decided that we are not the appropriate adverti*****t platform for you personally or your business model. We do appreciate your understanding and cooperation." During this period of lockdown in SA one would think that Gumtree would do their utmost to support SMMEs and especially black-owned SMMEs. Instead it seems that certain personnel at Gumtree are doing their utmost to assist with the demise of black-owned SMMEs in the country. Gumtree, you are a disgrace to this country and I would encourage all South Africans to actively join my campaign to shut Gumtree down in this country as we as KwikPave (South Africa) refuse to accept such conduct from an Ebay owned company.
