False advertising by Guumtree
<p>On their website, where they say post a free ad.</p> <p>When you post the ad they say you have to pay R399 posting fee.</p> <p>Then it is not free.</p> <p>False advertising.</p>

Posting an ad on the Gumtree website is free, however, we have implemented restrictions on the number of free ads that can be posted in certain categories. These changes were implemented to target spam and *****.
Individuals who use Gumtree to post a high volume of job ads are required to pay insertion fees. If you have more than two Job ads active at a time you will be required to pay the insertion fee for each additional listing. You can replace your free ads with new ads at any time to ensure your new ads are free.
