Does not apply rules consistently

<p>I've been an avid gumtree user ever since its inception in Cape Town a couple of years ago. I also notified lots of my friends about its great service. Recently I have been battling with gumtree support as I am competing in the construction industry. I find that almost every competitor advertising through gumtree has multiple ads on of the same service, yet my account was blocked for doing this very thing.</p> <p> </p> <p>I then contacted the support staff, stating that yes I do respect the rules, however if rules are there it needs to be implemented consistently as each and every competitor is putting multiple ads on of the same service. She then said that I would have to report these multiple ads, which I did. It took me about an hour to go through just some of the listings, yet ALL these ads which I have reported are still running on Gumtree.</p> <p>Please Gumtree, before deciding to just block a user, also consider that this might be someone elses bread and butter that you are taking away. 10 ads in the service catergory is great and I can live with that.
