Account locked for no valid reason and without explanation

After trying to post an adverti*****t to sell my vehicle, and have the listing removed, I gave up. Now almost a year later, I'm trying to sell another car and Gumtree has seen fit to lock my account. After querying why, I got the following response:

"It has been decided that we are not the appropriate adverti*****t platform for you personally or your business model. We do appreciate your understanding and cooperation."

Absolutely no details whatsoever about why the account had been locked. Last time I checked, Gumtree has many vehicles listed.
