Bad Service

I have bought a Nissan X-Trail from Group 1. Upon receiving it I had a complaint that the clutch takes very late. It didn't feel right to me and my Sales Lady, Caren Tolmay called the Used cars Sales Manager Ryno t have a look. He got into the car and felt it and said to me it is normal for the clutch to take so late and that this is how they were designed to be. I also realised that my car was supposed to have the 90,000kms service done as it was sold with this service included. When I checked the book it wasn't done. I took it back and they agreed to do the service. When I arrived later that day my car was not back yet from the service upon which I queried why it was send away. I was told the workshop was too busy and they had to send it to a private, reliable guy to do the service. On 105,000kms I took it to the same guy as I was assured I can use him and I was told they never replaced my plugs on 90,000kms because they were instructed by Nissan not to do it and they had to it on the 105,000km service (of course which I had to pay). My car is still standing there (almost 1 week) and I still don't have an answer. I have mailed Lance the DP and have not yet received anything back!

Hello puss007,

RESPONSE FROM LANCE ST.CLAIR, DEALER PRINCIPLE, GROUP 1 NISSAN KUILS RIVER:

Contrary to Mr Van der Westhuizen's posted complaint, firstly we are not in possession of his vehicle for any reason whatsoever. Secondly I, Lance St Clair, DP of Group 1 Kuils Rivier had a meeting with Mr Van der Westhuizen and all parties present in our boardroom where all issues were discussed and resolved about 7 months ago.

Since then we have neither seen nor heard from Jacques Van der Westhuizen.

I am unsure as to the motive behind the 2nd posting attached to the complaint, dated 9 January 2016, but view it in a very dim light as this issue was resolved in June 2015.
