Audi A4 2.0T Ambition(B8)
On 25/11/2015 I bought a Audi A4 2.0T Ambition(B8) from Group 1 Nissan in Uitenhage. The vehicle had 91000km on the odometer when I bought it and had a full service history at Audi except for the last service which Group 1 Nissan had done at an independent service garage. After driving about 1000km the oil light came on and I took it back to Nissan. After doing tests on it they returned it to me saying nothing was wrong. I then took the vehicle to Audi and they did an oil consumption test, and the vehicle failed this test. I then took the report I got from Audi, showing the vehicle had failed the test and quotation for the repairs, and gave it to Group 1 Nissan. This vehicle is defective and they still don't want to take back the vehicle. I am well within my rights to return the vehicle according to the Consumer Protection Act. It seems to me that nobody is enforcing this act and that the dealerships just ignore it. This is the law and nobody is above the law. I have appointed a lawyer to pursue this matter, but the dealership is still ignoring me.
