How to lose your domain with 1-grid

I started my business with 1-grid (gridhost) eight years ago. I kept my balance with them big enough and the company deducted the necessary amounts for their services. It was working smoothly until the following story happened. I received the domain renewal notice on 16th of May and added money to my account in 1-grid as I have been doing for the last eight years. Deadline was 15th of June so it was enough time. Unfortunately this time 1-grid DID NOT RENEW my domain.

Later they said the autorenew setting was off, but I didn't change it. Why would I? It worked well for me for years. Maybe it was changed while transferring my account from gridhost to 1-grid?

1-grid didn't send a notice that domain registration has expired. That could be a red alert to immediately fix the problem.

On 22nd of June 1-grid deducted a fee for the webhosting of a domain that they didn't renew. It's not a joke.

I knew that I added enough money to pay for all my services so I didn't check the 1-grid account or website for a while. When I found out the problem my domain was gone, somebody registered it. What next? Aphiwe Jiya dealt with me trying to resolve the case. Unfortunately he doesn't answer emails anymore. I tried to call support, tried online chat - no result, he doesn't phone back.

I'm going to send a copy of this feedback to 1-grid support, Mr Jiya. Hopefully I will get some sort of response.
