Bad service at car rental company

I rented a vehicle from them from last Monday at Lanseria and dropped it off on Saturday. I was very impressed with the collection service. They were waiting at the drop off and all was good. I was a bit shocked to learn ( and that was my fault for not reading the small print) that they reserve an amount of R11,000 when doing the rental. I am used to the companies and iI have used a number of them at Lanseria reserving amounts of up to +-R6,000.

Last Friday I got a call from the person who would be collecting my car at Lanseria and i told him that I would be there at the latest 06h00. He was fine with that. I arrived at 05h50 and called the person collecting the vehicle and he said that he would be there at 6. He finally arrived at 06h20. You can't leave the vehicle because they will clamp it. There was no apology or sorry for the inconvenience or anything.

I then called this morning to ask when they would release the reserved funds of R11,000 to be told that it could take up to 21 working days to release. That is absolutely unacceptable. All other companies that i sue at Lanseria pay by the latest the first Wednesday of the day following me dropping off the vehicle.

Based on this I will certainly not be recommending this company to anybody else and will not be making use of them again.
