Bad service and false pretences

I took a contract with Green Connect 5 May 2016 (Thursday). When I received the handset I noticed a black dot on the LCD but did not pay much attention as I thought this will dissapear and also i left the plastic cover protection on the front screen. I only removed this covering o tne weekend as I then pruchased a back cover for my M4 Aqua. When I removed the covering I noticed on the screen where the black dot on the LCD is, the screen had a tiny crack. I immediately reported this to Green Connect the following Business day which was the Monday morning. I then arranged for the courier to collect a couple of weeks later when the ink on the LCD started to leak. When the courier collected the handset I returned the handset and sim and informed Green connect in writing that I am cancelling all debits unless I receive a new Handset as they obviously sent me a faulty handset. The contacted me a month later after they received the handset that it will be sent to The HVC for checking and the technicians know what to check for whether the handset were damaged negligently or if it was faulty and if I dont accept the quote I will still have to pay R350 for the quote. I knew that Green Connect were never going to accept Libility that a faulty handset were sent. They debited my account now July and I reversed the debit as I am not in possession of any items belonging to Green Connect.

The consutant phoned to enquire as to why I returned the debit because the handset were damageddue to negligence on my behalf?? Can someone please advise as to what my next step should be as clearly Green Connect's business conduct seems *********.

I hope Management of Green Connect respond to the claims here
