I had a terrible experience purchasing a car from the GWM Westrand. Purchasing a car is suppose to be a joyous moment. I am depressed and stressed out. When I approached them wanted the GWM M4 they sent me a quote for a Haval and later changed it again. The costing structure was terrible. I asked for the invoice before I took delivery. They took a long time to send it. When they eventually sent it, it had additional cost on there which I did not authorise. First I never got a quote and my understanding is that the quote and the invoice mirror each other. I told them I would pay separate for the service plan. They had an item on there called "Paint" I asked what is that for ? They said paint protection. I never asked for that. They put smash and grab and track tec on. I did not ask for it. Before I could cancel the smash and grab they had already done it. The track tec is another story. When I took delivery of the car the Sales Person told me it was on the car already they cant take it off. She said that it will bring down the insurance. I add that to the insurance it only reduced by R10. Then the insurance company asked for the certificate. They took forever to respond to me and then later said it was not put on the car. So they ****, and charged me for something that was not on the car. Firstly they sold me a car with a dent. I had to take the car back in to have that fixed and it was suppose to be a brand new car. When I took the car to have the dent fixed I signed a contract. When I got home I checked it and it was wrong so I called them immediately and told them to correct the contract and reprint a new one. They agreed. They needed to take track tec off and explain the additional charges. I asked what is service and delivery? I wanted a breakdown. The couldn't give it to me. I am still waiting for them to explain. I told them I am not signing the contract until the dent it fixed and the service and delivery fee is explained. The finance lady went ahead and sent the incorrect contract to MFC. The wrong amount and it had additional cost on which I did not approve. MFC paid them and I was left with incorrect car repayments. The track tec was on the invoice even though it was not on my car. I will never buy are GWM again. I am spreading the word on social media. Dodge business deal, ******* and *****.
