Waiting for pension
I have resigned from the government in October 2014. Following up on my pension, it was said by the call centre assistants that it takes 4 to 12 weeks. It has been 5 months now. On Febr 25 I phoned again. It was said that it has already been sent to SARS and to the paypoint, 3 days at the most. On dubble checking the next day, another assistant informs me that it will take another 60 days, as nothing has been sent to any points yet. How long should I wait???

Kindly note that your resignation document have been received on the 13/02/2015 , they are currently being processed , no payment date or SARS request have been done.
GEPF take 60 days to process a claim after receipt from the member previous employer , this claim is still within our turn around-time
payment date will be commmunicated in due course .
