Unfair treatment of pensioners
I retired after 40 years of service as a teacher in port elizabeth in december 2014. I have been without a salary since then due to lack of urgency in dealing with payments of my pension fund since then. I have been to the gepf offices on numerous occasions to find out what the delay is. I found out today my file has been with a certain Herman Moekatsani for the past two weeks awaiting payment. I find this to be highly unacceptable as these people get a monthly salary to do their jobs efficiently and effectively, yet we have to struggle to survive daily after serving our country and it's citizens for all these years.
