UNACCEPTABLY INCONSIDERATE?

On the 29 May 2015, I was contacted by Maggie Monaheng regarding my late father's estate. I was informed that, upon providing certain documentation, a portion of his policy due to me would be paid out. At a personal cost: financial and emotional, I not only had to take time off work, to deliver the documents in person as requested, I had to locate distant family members, and cause them the unnecessary distress of having to relive my father's passing as particular details were gathered.6 to 8 weeks to be exact. This initial period passed with no engagement on my part, since I naturally assumed the slow-spinning cogs of government were operating as expected. When I did eventually give the department a call, I was told my claim was being processed by<br> Boitumelo Modise on the 06 August 2015 and I should expect payment within 24 to 48 hours - this was on 10 August 2015. after several phone calls, where I was either put on hold for a very long time, hung up on, or told to simply be patient, I was eventually informed that the whole thing had been a mistake.Surely staff should be more thorough in their research before contacting the policy holder's family members. Forwarding email please?
