Unacceptable treatment and non compliance by GEPF Resignations and pensions

Have been battling for over a month for payment firstly. Send documentation for authorization on the 28th of Oct 22 on which date my benefits were last calculated eventually paid over to Alexander Forbes provident fund only on the 30th of November. No interest calculated for the month it took them.

Then for a week and a half battled to get the ROT and proof of payment out of them even after eventually getting hold of a supervisor.

Got the document eventually last week and since then been battling to get the pre 1998 benefits amount stated as a seperate as its taxfree.

Phoning them you sit and wait for a half and hour or longer on hold without results. Emailing them just as useless because they dont even respond. Even complaint to the GEPF ombudsman and just get told its under review for the past 3 week.

Now eventually also send to their own complaints management department today and sofar not even bothered to let me know thei looking into it

Its absolutely pathetic and useless to get anything out of them. You just met with walls nonstop and I hate to think what happens to people who is trying to claim death benefits.

I cant do my pension withdrawal without this proof as SARS needs to know they should not tax this amount and just getting no assistance
