Suspicious proceedings at the gepf

The gepf is so unreliable, we have been emailing since 2021 when my father died. They delayed releasing the pension fund for 3 full years all in name of investigating the legal spouse because there were 2 other people who claimed to be the legal spouse. Once they concluded the investigation in 2024, they paid the pension funds out but did not backdate the spousal annuity as they had said. The monthly spousal annuity payment was only made from the month of may 2025 to November 2025 when they called and said they are stopping the payments due to an investigation they are opening to yet again find a legal spouse, the lady that called stated that she found no record of a prior investigation and explained that the same women who were investigated from 2021 are STILL the same people being investigated again. What I don’t understand is what exactly it is that these women failed to produce in 2021 that they can suddenly produce in 2025 after the investigation was concluded by private investigators and forensic experts that makes the gepf open an investigation and claim there was no prior investigation. Also, if that’s the case, what were they doing for 3 years that delayed everything? At this point, we’re suspecting that the gepf might be doing ***** because it makes no sense at all.
