SPOUSE SUPPORT

I have app**** on behalf of my father for a spouse support. My mother passed on the 04 July 2020. Her CP number was ***1. Her identity document surname is the same as my father surname. Her death certificate mentioned that she is not married. i then wrote an affidavit explaining what was her ****en surname and I have attached copies of identity documents of her parents. I have also included copies of identity document of her children wish bear the surname similar to all of us.

The GEPF demand a lobola letter to prove that she was married. I have responded an said that we can find that letter as none of her family members are still alive. We have waited for so long now. We find this very offensive if on her death certificate state not married and yet she have a surname similar to her husband and having children since 1966. On our application we have attached a title deed that states they are married in community of proper. We want to know if they will pay the spouse support and if not we demand a reason for this so we can escalate this matter further.
