Pention payout DoH
Dear Lovely People.<br> Is there anyone who can tell me how long will it take when you resign from Prov Government Health Dept. before you get your ''pension payout?'' It is actually a resignation and not pension payout- I resigned with last day 31 July 2015. I sent all my documents to my HR office end of May 2015 but I still received a salary payout for August 2015 ...... although my last day where end of July 2015. It seems to me that nothing were done with my resignation docs seeing that I still received a salary for Aug.2015. Can any one from Gov Pension fund in Pretoria assist me , please? What is the norm? Will I have to wait a couple of months cause when I asked my HR office who long it would take they reply \up to six months''???? I do not want to bad mouth anyone but I need the payout asap to live from. I actually do not want to complain

With regards to your enquiry, please be advised that the GPAA have not received the pension documents from your ex-employer as yet.
Kindly follow up with your employer in order to submit your withdrawal documents to the GPAA for processing.
Please note that the GPAA takes +- 60 days to process ones file, provided that all information received from the employer is correct.
