Pension not paid out after more than 60 days!!!!!!

My Dad passed away on the 02/05/2019 while still in service. We completed all of the required forms in the second week of May.

The death benefit statement was stamped on the 29th July 2019. Gepf then called us and said the pension would be paid out in 15 days. We have been calling every second day since then but every time we call they say the file is still with payments and they are busy with calculations.

1. Surely this is not the first time they are dealing with a deceased members pension fund. Why would it take a month to do calculations?

2. We have had to call as there was no response to all of our emails.

3. Is the pension fund aware that families need to pay bills as these do not stop after death.

4. They told us it takes 60 days to wrap up everything and close off the file. It has been more than 60 days and still nothing.

Who do we call? Who can we speak to that will actually help us??
