Pension Fund miscalcalation due to incorrect information supp**** by the employer - No excuse

Administrators are not as professional as expected. Queries are not investigated and therefore not responded to effectively. It is also clear that minimal information is required from the employer and nothing is verified in order to perform correct calculations of the pension. In our case, the employer submitted that contributions date was from 1999, instead of 1973. Disregarding all those years prior to 1999. This means the rights of the employee is not paramount. It is as if the fund protects the employer and nothing gets done if new, correct information is presented. It makes me wonder what the roles of the Administrators and Trustees are when it comes to members.
