Orphans Pension fund

Both my parents have passed on and I therefore, I app**** for the orphans pension fund. However it was declined because they assumed my stepmother was my mother and she's alive. I was then advised to apply again and provide the required documents: proof of registration, academic results, death certificates and bank statements. I did all that. <br> Then November 2014, I was told they had requested the file from the warehouse and till today, I have not received any feedback or response with regards to the situation. My parents passed away in 2008 already, the only money I received was my dads fund which was rationed between my other 2 siblings and I, but that has been covering my tuition fees and I live with my grandmother who is a pensioner and ill and can only do so much to assist. <br> I have basically waited for 7 years applying for this orphans pension fund and I'm constantly requested to wait, but receive no service delivery. This is my last year in university and I'm concerned that the organisation might tell me I can't receive the pension because I'm 22 years old this year and that's the cut off age. The problem is I've done everything that was required of me but still no delivery.
