No Pension after spouse died

My father died 28/7/2015 and my Mother completed the forms early August. Nothing has been done and no pension has been paid to her yet. She is elderly and sitting without an income. Her medical aid want to cancel because of non payment and she will not get another medical at her age. This is unacceptable to do this to the elderly. She lives in Koppies and is far from PTA, it is not possible for her to go into the offices.
