No payment from gepf

On the 8 of August 2019 I resigned from the SAPS. on the 27 September my resignation documents reached GEPF. These documents were forwarded to their legal department where they stayed until the 22 October. The documents have been at their payment section since the 22 October and no tax directive has been requested yet. Other members i have worked with have received their pension payout within two months of resignation. My documents were all in order. How can a file be at payment section so long and no tax directive has been requested?? I will loose my house if this continues! !!!
