NO PAYMENT

I submitted my resignation forms to the GEPF in September 2017, for last day of work being 31 Dec 2017. I have been calling since October 2017 to make a follow up on whether my documents had been received. I was told they had obtained them (in October). Because I am a teacher, we closed early for December, so they received my last pension payment on 8 Dec 2017. When they closed for the festive season on 22 Dec, all my documents were with them. They opened on 2 Jan, but still no payment has been made. I have been communicating them via phone, emails and faxing, asking them to speed payment as I have 3 children in tertiary. I was told my file is at Payment, but they are not promising whether they will pay before the end of January or early February. This is very frustrating as I have 3 children in tertiary, and I haven't started on my new job. I submitted the forms on time to allow them sufficient time for processing. At times you call for the whole day and the call is not answered. This is very frustrating.
