No feedback regarding claim for more than 2 years

The claim for the beneficiaries (3 children) of the late Ms AC Pelser has been stalling for the past 2 years since her death. It has taken more than three times to send and finally courier all the relevant documents required to process the claim to the person responsible at the Gauteng Department of Education (Ms Nkae Pilane). She finally confirmed on 13 August of this year that the documents have all been sent to the GEPF (the waybill number will be given if required). Now for the past two months, numerous calls to the GEPF have gone unanswered and we have not been able to get any feedback as to when the claim will finally be finalized. All documents must be at the GEPF, as confirmed by Ms Pilane, therefore we see no reason why the process should be further delayed, 2 years after my mother-in-law's passing. The different people between the GEPF and Gauteng Education department responsible for pension fund claims try and shift blame as far as possible, and the result is the claims go no where, which we are starting to feel may be the whole idea. We just want to get everything finalized, but the GEPF and Gauteng Education department make sure that that doesn't happen too quickly.
