More Than 6 Months and Still Waiting For Payment

Following some adjustments to my TCE (annual increase and salary scale adjustments) after I had already left the Government and had already received my pension payment - my previous employer informed me that they will be resubmitting my profile for recalculations - this was subsequently submitted on 7 November 2017.

In January 2018, I made follow up with the GEPF and was told that there were some outstanding contributions and that my file was sent back to the employer.

On 20 February 2018 my previous employer informed (email) that they have settled outstanding contributions and re-submitted my file to GEPF.

Since then (February 2018) it's been a rollercoster back and forth with GEPF - at some point GEPF told me that contributions were still outstanding! And once again the previous employer had to relook at the case and responded that actually NO - all outstanding contributions were paid the first time in February and that nothing was still outstanding (no additional payments were made).

Fast-forward>>>> since around May 2018, my file has been with the Finance unit (team doing the recalculations / at some point you are told all recalculations are done) - but there's no movement. I have asked for escalations after escalations after escalations!!! I have even spoken to a couple of supervisors and all they can do is submit escalations - in fact one supervisor advised me that GEPF tends to only prioritize new claims, meaning that for me doing a recalculation, often this takes long cause its not a priority!!

Can I just gut my payment processed as in yesterday - it's not right to have this type of delay!
