Lack of response and assistance from the GEPF

Since 2017, after the loss of my beloved daughter. I have been trying to gain access to my daughters pension fund legally. I am now the guardian of my three beautiful grandchildren and I am struggling to financially support them without this.

My daughter worked as a TVET college lecturer employed by the DBE. I have all documentation and proof of my constant communication with the GEPF offices, however it is now already mid-2020 and I have received no communication regarding my daughters pension fund and the release of the funds or what is the next steps to take.

My first set of documents were sent in February 2018, the last response received was 09 April 2020 Stating that my application has been received by the GPAA. Since this message has been received I have tried contacting the offices on numerous occassions to no avail.

I am highly unsatisfied with the lack of response and assistance from the GEPF.
