It's been almost a year and my mother's death benefit has not been processed

My name is Thando Xhekwa and I am the son of the late Regina Xhekwa who was employed as a nurse at Hackney clinic in the Eastern Cape. My mother passed away in December last year after succumbing to Covid 19 wich she contracted on Duty. In January I was called by the Department of Health human resources Queenstown district to submit my application for GEPF death in service claims and also leave gratuity. I submitted all my applications in January. I was then called back by them as they stated that my application had returned with errors from GEPF so I went again and resubmitted the documents. On the 27 of June I called GEPF to enquire why my applications were taking this long and I was informed that they never received any applications and that it was impossible for them to reject my applications with errors as they have never even received an application with my mother's pension number. I then procedeed to contact Queenstown Human Resources and informed them of the matter. I was directed to a lady by the name of Dawn Stemele who was arrogant and rude to me. She told me that the GEPF Agent was lieng and that they always blame their administrational errors on them. She proceeded to tell me that she was doing my a favour by processing my mother's leave gratuity. I don't understand how she was doing me her favour when it's her job to process my applications. Today is the 15 of September 2021 I have not received a single cent from GEPF or the Human Resources. Queenstown Department of Health human resources have even gone so far as to ingore my calls Every time I call and tell them who I am they proceed to tell me the person I need to speak to is on leave. I have tried all forms of communications but to no avail I don't know who to speak to anymore I even wrote a letter to the public protectors office but to no avail.my Cell phone number is ********** at this point any form of assistance would be greatly appreciated, thankfully.
