I.O.D - CPB ***

My husband passed away in 2020 due to COVID contracted from his workplace. His employee signed all the required documents and I submitted them during 2021 at the Compensation Office (Coida),Labour office did send the documents to Gepf as the claim was approved to be an I.O.D. Since 2021 up until now I have not received any money from the claim. When I call the call centre, at first they said that the original award was missing or either the I.O.D has not rep**** to my request yet. I even went to a point of making the Head Manager at the Compensation office to call them and ask regarding the claim and they said that they will escalate the query but still today it is the same story of waiting for the I.O.D Department to respond. Then after weeks and weeks of calling them I was then told that I needed to submit a bank form because the one that I sent before was missing as the courier was ****** in Pretoria from Bisho which I submitted again. Ever since then I am waiting and waiting and given the same pathetic story of the I O.D that has not responded. I have never seen such an unfit and *********** department as the GEPF and what is worse is the mere fact that there is no number to call and talk to those that are in I.O.D section.People are sleeping on their jobs and no one is accountable.
