Inadequate telephonic feedback
I resigned from the SANDF at the end of July 2015. I've been informed by HR that my claim was received (signed for by GEPF rep) by the GEPF on 17 Sep 15. I have been calling the GEPF on a weekly basis for the past 6 weeks in order to monitor the progress of my claim. I've been repeatedly informed by the agents that my claim was only registered on 29 Sep and that it is still in process, and that I should call again in 7 days. It is frustrating as everytime I call I have to hold for approximately 15 minutes to get an available agent to simply give me exactly the same feedback that I've been getting for the past few weeks.

I am now starting to become anxious as I suspect that, if left unaddressed, this is more than likely the same feedback I will get for an undefined period still to come.

Can the GEPF please provide me with definitive feedback on my claim, particularly as to what the remainder of the process still entails with a realistic forecast as to when I can expect payment of the funds.
