GPAA shocking SLA

I have been waiting for over a year for GEPF to pay out my late fathers pension. I submitted the first claim to the district offices last year june, and they kept them there until they expired in December. I didnt even get a call regarding this I had to enquire for myself and after being given the run around I was told to resubmit. I did this early January 2018 and I have been following up monthly ever since. The recent documents almost expired again but due to my insistence to be helped by a manager my documents were eventually sent though, and I got an sms from gpaa on the 8th May 2018 that my documents were received. On the 19th June 2018 I get a call from the department saying they want the same documents again, and on the 20th June 2018 I get an email from GPAA requesting these document.

The incompetence in government is unbelievable that is a known fact but this really takes it to another level, my siblings study and work in Cape Town and the other in the Free State. Getting these documents actioned and couriered to Gauteng costs money. After months of begging my father debtors to give us time to sort things out we are in real danger of losing his house.

I hope the government knows that with each bad experience people have, they leave the governing party, I know they do not care but hey, in 2019 we will make sure they do.
