Gpaa discriminates against public servants working less then 10 yrs. They contradict the labour laws that says that every employer is entitled to a monthly income.

I am public servant pension nr ***9.i am disabled and have a rare genetic connective tissue disease and became ill and got medically boarded effective from 31st December and I was employed at NGSH. I am suppose to get r275000 a once off payment that I must live with the rest of my life. I am renting a place and have two daughters to support.

Apparently the GEPf is suppose to add a extra 5 yrs but it is nowhere to be seen. Because I am working less then 10 yrs I am being discrimated upon because I am ill and disable others that work more then 10 yrs get a monthly income and I don't qualify for it. Yet the government have labour laws as well laws for disable people that they are entitled to a monthly income. I went through the laws and I am entitled to sassa as well as uif for illness. The government pension fund discriminates upon their own public servants but there is so much laws. I will not be discriminated upon because I became sick and are disabled. I will reported this matter to the public protector. I was supposed to get feedback from gepf and gpaa on the 10 January. I am getting no income at present. The Gepf and gfpaa don't care what happens to those that I medically boarded. Kind regards Gafsa Garson
