GPAA and GEPF insensitive and ***********

I have been submitting documents to GPAA and GEPF for the past 3 months. GEPF says they have forwarded the documents to GPAA, but when I call GPAA says they didn't receive documents on their email or from GEPF. Then GEPF says they never received any documents yet I have emails from them with reference numbers stating that they have sent the documents for processing. In the age that we living in, no one uses fax anymore. The area I live in, the internet cafes don't use fax anymore but GPAA insists that fax is quicker, well I faxed and there was still no response.

They are very insensitive after you have lost a loved one. They treat you and your loved ones case as a number and noone is prepared to be helpful and deal with queries in the correct manner. I understand there is a backlog because of covid, but when I called GPAA, one consultant said they had dealt with all January's claims. I submitted on 21January 2021and didn't receive the death benefit claim. Its 31 March 2021 and on 16 and 17 March 2021 after submitting my claim again on 10 March 2021, I received an email stating that my claim was submitted for processing. Then on 29 March I received another email when making an enquiry on the reference number I was given, GEPF said they received no documents or claim from me yet they said they sent it for processing and gave me a reference number. Is it incompetence, insensitivity or are they deliberately delaying the process. I submitted documents with reference numbers, via GEPF because GPAA has a backlog and their email is not working properly, on 21 January 2021, 16 February 2021, 10 March 2021 and again 29 March 2021. All I received was mixed messages and reference numbers, no real communication or payment.
