GEPF - totaly worthless

My father passed away on the 27th March 2024. He paid the GEPF for more than 30 years. Up and till today, 9th October 2024, his funeral cover has not been paid out nor the spousal pension fund for my mother. Nothing, not 1 cent. How do GEPF expect my mother to live? She can't pay or buy anything, my income and resources can't keep up, I've depleted everything. I call on a weekly basis, every week the same information; it is in the system. Please explain what a funeral cover is for if not for the funeral?! For the last month, (I'm calling twice a week) there is an automatic message to inform you that there is a system problem. This is ridiculous, I've been hearing that since June! What is the point in paying your hard earn money every month for a funeral claim and pension fund but when it matters there is nothing?! No help, no assistance, no progress. My phone calls (I have 5 different numbers, including toll free number, that I'm calling to find anyone to assist me) all either busy, just ringing and my favourite; system error. The email to their enquiries that according to them that is the only other thing you can do. No response every time, nothing. How is my mother suppose to live? There's municipality bills, upkeep of the house, groceries? She has no other means
