GEPF sending me from pillar to post

I resigned from the SANDF on the 30 June 2015 and my file was completed and forwarded to the GEPF. I started making enquiries to the toll-free number by the end of September 2015 and told to wait at least 60 days. On the 10 November 2015 I called again as I was told to make a follow-up that month, and the feedback was that my file was sent to the Department of Defence for rectification on the 05 October 2015 and came back to GEPF on the 29 October 2015. On the 04 December 2015 (Bongile Nhlagothi) GEPF said that my file was sent back to the Department of Defence for amendment of 19 April 1997 to 26 July 2000 payment (3102 item A16) which I have been paid for, without informing me nor my employer about reasons for the payment( I received money from GEPF and didn't know what was all about except that the pension number was different to the one I have now). On the 10 December 2015 I spoke to Charles (GEPF) and he said the file is with them. The GEPF must pay the amount that is owed to me to meet my financial obligations.
