GEPF NO PAYOUT 4 MONTHS AND COUNTING
<p>I Catherine Motshoene write this with the biggest disappointment with the Ordeal I have had with GEPF, I have made several calls and I am not getting any feedback.</p> <p>On the papers We are advised that it takes 60 days for the pay out once the claim has been made.</p> <p>Each time we make a telephonic enquiry I was told 3 times by Patience to call after 7 working days ,</p> <p>I explained my condition to her , she took my number and advised that she will get her supervisor to call me but I have not received any communication yet.</p> <p>I made a claim after my divorce was finalised and when call I still get the run around , I suffer from depression and have also been diagnosed with (Dementia) Alzheimer’s.</p> <p>I see people have been waiting for years for their pay outs, unfortunately I cannot afford to wait for even the next 30 days, I am on chronic medication and they are expensive</p> <p>And sometimes the medical Aid cannot pay for them. I need to take my medication to slow down the progression of my Alzheimer’s.</p> <p>I no longer have support from my ex-husband and I was lay off work by doctor since I also suffer from panic attacks.</p> <p>I need someone to help me as soon as possible my life depends on this. Hi Lucille Smith, the papers have been with the Legal Team for Months. I keep calling they are telling me the samething. My social worker called the other day and he was told I would have been paid by 1st week of December. Can I have a concrete update this is rather urgent. I have no source of other support, My daugjter is taking a strain in sustaining the family.
