GEPF LEFT ME IN DEBTS

I resigned in April, I spoke to my employer that I want an option that will pay off my every cent. 6 weeks later GEPT paid a quarter of the money, I went to their offices in Polokwane the same day I got the money, I was helped my a guy named Moloko and ge said the later my employer wrote said I was going on pension and that is why my money was paid like that. I tried to talk to him to fix it and get me my money buy he said that was impossible. I am now left with debts I can't afford to paid monthly because the R2050 they give me monthly won't cover for my car installment and my other debts. I am old and if my employer made a mistake or didn't have an understanding does that have to make me suffer? I don't understand why it's impossible to pay out what's left or maybe to allow me to pay back their money so that they can start over.
