GEPF IS PATHETIC!!!

I have been waiting for more than 4 months for my pension payout. The money was paid into the unclaimed benefits funds in January and I submitted my banking details in February.

Since then I have been sent from pillar to post. The file has been lying for the entire March and April at the re-issue department, awaiting a memo for the forensic department.

I called yesterday and I was informed that the payment date is on Friday. I called again this morning and I was informed that there is no payment date yet.

I want to know whether GEPF will make the payment with interest since it's has been outstanding more than 90 days and the law stipulates that they should add interest for payments outstanding more than 90 days.

I sent an email to their complaints department back in March but it was never ever acknowledged.

My pension number is ***8.

I hope that this will trend and they would at least have the decency to respond to Hello Peter and not ignore it like they ignore their members.
